today is my mom's birthday.

i took her out to lunch, we got a little tipsy after sharing an entire bottle of red wine, and then we did a little shopping.

it was lots of fun. *smiles*

i always love spending the day with my mom; sometimes i lose sight of just how cool she is, and it's always nice to be reminded that you're the luckiest `kid` alive.
