happy chinese new year!

it's the year of the monkey, which means it's my time to shine. *smiles* according to chinese astrology, every twelve years marks the beginning of your 'new life,' so this year is an important one for me in that it will help to shape the direction my life will take for the eleven years to follow.

i love chinese new year. the celebrations are fantastic, and it's just such a refreshing time.

if only i could be in san francisco to celebrate... it's nothing sort of amazing to be there during the chinese new year! *smiles* but the festivities in seattle (on saturday) look promising. hopefully we won't get rained out!
