it's not a whole lot of fun when you stay up writing e-mails till three in the morning, and your dog, unaware of the significance of that, decides to wake you up at eight-thirty for a rousing game of 'kill the covers' and then a potty break. but you know what's even less fun than that? sitting, like a zombie with dark circles under your eyes, in front of the computer at nine am because you can't get back to sleep... while the aforementioned dog is snoring blissfully on the couch behind you.
