so i'm lovin' life right now! more than usual. *beams*

things are lookin' on the up and up in regard to The Big Move. i hear back from my friend j this week about whether or not she'll be able to get the time off from work to come with when i go up there to check things out. either way, i'm going. and i know it'll be great!

oh, and i'm also going to chicago. chi town baby, ooooh yeah! i've never been. (something i won't be able to say a few weeks from now! hee!) i have some friends out there who are absolute sweethearts - they're going to let me crash on their respective couches, and show me the sights. i'm sooooo looking forward to the trip! *biggest smile ever*

i've also been invited to go a bunch of places with j... she's the best, i tell ya'! she and some other friends are heading up to magic mountain soon... but i think i'm going to skip out on that one, in my feeble attempt to save money. and now to contradict myself a mere two seconds later, i am going to take her up on the invite to go off-roading in san felipe! i've never experienced off-roading, and have yet to travel to that region of mexico... so i'm willing to drop some cash on that little adventure! (i guess i view mm differently, since i've been there oodles of times before.)

anywho! seattle trip, chicago trip, san felipe trip... it's been awhile since i've flown the friendly skies and i'm jazzed. *dances*

plus, there's the radiohead concert coming up in september and you bet your ass i'm looking forward to that! if i get any more excited, i think i'll be thrown into full dork mode and there's no telling what'll happen then. *raspberry*

i'm supposed to hang out with jody tomorrow night, and i'd also like to see wilson this week. (if he can fit me into his oh-so-busy schedule, ahem. *g*) friday i think i'd like to invite rob to the movies... we both want to see open range. and then tonight i'm off to see the padres most likely get spanked by the mets, accompanied by my mom, some of her friends, and j. should be fun! there's a game to go to on sunday, as well. (that one against montreal.)

and oh god, this has turned into one of those entries that's just a step above 'what i did today'... ack! but dammit, i can't help it... i'm just really happy about all that's going on. *smiles*

i will go now though, as it's nearing one in the afternoon and my lazy ass has yet to change out of my pjs. (so tragic.) it's a beeeeau-ti-ful day outside and i'm thinking the dogs will love me to no end if i take them out for a run on the beach. i've gotta live up to my title of 'bestest doggie mom in the whole wide world'... cause yunno, i just do.

and i'm thinking pb&j sounds good for lunch. yum!
