it's not that i forgot about this diary or anything...

well, okay, it is. ;o)

but let's not dwell on that!

i give you: the update!

new roomie josh, or mr. customs as i like to call him, is all settled in and doing well. seems like a really nice guy, and for that i am beyond thankful! :o)

cori, rob and i are addicted to vegan chinese food. oh my god. i was fully expecting to gain weight after indulging in the mandarin goodness for three days straight, but on the contrary, i seem to have lost roughly four pounds. i'm suspicious, but will not complain. *g*

school = meh. rob and i missed another day today because it was his job to wake us up and he decided to be a total slacker instead. not that i can blame him; math at eight in the morning is not a very appealing activity.

i don't have work tomorrow! woohoo! i do work saturday, but that's almost a good thing, as saturdays have proven to be fun. it's only five hours anyway, and my day is free from two-thirty on. i think i also work monday. this is good too, as it means more money for the three birthdays i have around the corner - cori, rob, and my mom. :o)

i've been to the beach two days in a row now. i'm quite impressed with myself, as last summer i went to the beach once, maybe twice... and i'm pretty sure it was only to take pictures. in fact, i don't even think i touched sand. so very tragic. this summer however, has marked a huuuuge change in my beach-going habits. it's like i've rediscovered a place that i didn't even realize i missed. heh. i think i'll be going to the beach again this afternoon. maybe tomorrow too, if the weather permits.

speaking of getting out and about, i need to take cori on a ferry ride and to see the point loma lighthouse, not to mention to watch the sunset off of the la jolla cliffs. rob and i are also planing trips to the mountains, and to mexico, to show cor as much of the area as possible. so much to do, and so little time left to do it in. but i think we'll manage. ;o)

in other news - fall semester starts september 2nd, giving rob and i a whopping ten day break in-between the start of that and the end of the summer session we're in. super. ;op'' we've successfully registered for our classes though... and things look good. i'll be taking intro to mass communication, as well as math, with rob... and then i'll also be taking american lit. and mythology. after this semester the only remaining classes that i'll need are one more math (probably statistics, ugh), and intro to linguistics. then it's on to sdsu and a degree in english. yay! :o)

aaaaanywho. the day is too beautiful to spend any more of it on the computer. soooo, until next time...

any thoughts? (0)
