to properly welcome my dear friend cori, who arrived from canada this past wednesday, the skies shed their gray coat, and from monday on it's been absolutely gorgeous! it's been in the high 80's all week, with a top temp. of 102 on thursday! whoosh! (oh, and that's about 30 and 38 degrees celsius - we're getting fairly good at temperature conversion around here. *g*)

the fans are keeping us cool, and the ocean breeze has been welcome. good times!

we had an awesome 4th of july, and today there are plans for another beach outing! yay!

summer has begun, and it's never looked so good. ;o)
