matrix reloaded was a good flick, and if you go to see it, wait through the credits... a whopping eight minutes... to see the trailer for the next one due out in november.

in other movie news, i've actually been instructed by my professor to rent to movie o in place of reading the play, othello. (!) um, okay. she says we don't have enough time in the semester to read the play and then discuss it, so we were instructed to just go watch the movie over the weekend. cue twilight zone theme song please...

i'm also supposed to watch the new romeo & juliet with leo and claire for the drama paper i have due in that same class. weirdness. i feel like i'm cheating, even though i'm not. bah.

anywho. roomie steve (from here on out referred to as 'Coastie'), is off to a disco party tonight and dressed to the nines in a blue polyester leisure suit. it's pretty badass. but he's not letting me take a picture; he's playing mr. bashful. damn.

Stoner Boy aka The Roomie Who Will Not Be Gone Soon Enough is back in his home town celebrating his 21st birthday by killing the remaining few of his brain cells. i'll be surprised if he manages to board the plane and find his way back here. i'm not kidding.

rob is at work right now, and in a moment of extreme girl-y-ness, i'm going to say i miiiiiss him. i can't sit still for too long, or i start to throw a one woman pity party. on a related note, the house is looking pretty spotless. *g*

two more weeks of school. four more classes. and then - (sing it with me now) - schooooool's out for suuuummmmer! *g* actually... i'll probably end up taking one of those short classes that starts in august, so not really. bah. the sacrifices i make in the name of higher education. *l*

and have i mentioned i'm now officially unemployed? i am. and the sad thing? there was only one person who cared/acknowledged/knew that it was my last day. i'm nice and give two months notice and don't even get a damn 'good-bye'... instead the manager said to me as i was on my way to clock out for the final time, "you're going to cover for rob (the new trainer guy) next week, and i don't care if you like it or not because that's the way it needs to be." to which i replied, "i've always covered for him every time i've been asked, without complaint... so the attitude seems a tad unnecessary. that's of little relevance though, as today is my last day. so like it or not, i won't be covering for rob." and that was that. bah. i'm so happy to be rid of those awful people! *smiles* oh, and my own business is picking up speed and things on that front look really promising.

the bank thing is also good-to-go, as soon as a position opens up at a branch near me.

and i've already killed enough time babbling here, now it's time to get some more work done. :o)
