today i ate the most amazing and delicious californian pizza vegan wrap. ohmygod. to die for. and the organic strawberry smoothie? man oh man alive.

i also picked up a book at the borders in downtown san diego, and my cashier was a girl i used to work with at a different book store. and she's still a snobby little tart. the highlight of the encounter, was when her coworker confided in me (because people tend to view me as instantaneously trustworthy or something) that she was incompetent and no one liked her. big surprise. *raspberry*

work was ech... i dunno? i got told that i'm not going to go anywhere in life because i'm, and i quote, ``confident and opinionated.`` um, whatever. my boss then proceeded to tell me how replaceable i am... however she quickly changed her tune to praising my `value` when i confronted her with the question, ``if i'm so damn replaceable, you wouldn't have a problem getting someone to cover the weekend then?`` yeah, didn't think so.

but i guess my mom was telling someone she knows that her confident and opinionated daughter was looking for a new job, and the lady said she was looking for confident and opinionated people... so... i call monday and we'll see what happens from there. *smiles*

and i know i promised pictures of my new sunglasses, but i've gone and lost the first batch i took, and every time i've been home to take more it's been dark.. and that's just retarded. here i am illuminated by the floor lamp... in my spiffy new sunglasses. no, that just won't do.

but tomorrow and monday are supposed to be typical sunny southern californian days, so i should be able to manage a pic or two then. like anyone really cares anyway... *g*

and what's with using the word `californian` two now three times, in one entry? it's all this sunshine i tell you. i feel summer coming, baby, oh yeah.
