so the washing machine broke. it sucks a whole big bunch and even though i have a closet full of clothes i feel like i'll have nothing to wear tomorrow simply because i know i can't wash anything.

bah. hopefully i'll be able to sweet-talk a repair man into coming to fix it soon. too bad hair-flipping doesn't have the same effect over the phone...

aaaaanyway.

it looks like we have a new roommate to replace tyson (who turned out to be an evil check-bouncing fake-address-leaving scumbag). ... but i'm not going to get in to that right now.

so yeah, looks like steve will be moving in soon. we're going to do the whole lease/deposit thing this coming monday. yay! looking for roommates is fun for only about two days. maybe a week. but then you start encountering all the wackos and prissy people with a big list of ``demands`` and yikes. you also have to start telling people ``no thanks`` and even though i have a sharp tongue, i still find it difficult to tell perfectly nice folks that i don't want to live with them for the next six months, or ever.

i had one such conversation tonight and they guy was totally rude to me after i told him that i didn't think he'd work out living here. after he coped an attitude, i thanked him for making it easier on me. hee.

so uh, back to steve. he's cool. very funny, and we talked for nearly two hours when he came by to see the place. he's in the coast guard (he gets to fly helicopters! woot!), and surfs, and paints and yeah. hopefully this one's normal! *l*

oh, and josh update - he's awesome. it's like tyson brought out the worst in him, and with terrible tyson gone, he's a good guy. *smiles*

and lemme see... what else is there to say? i dunno. i'm tired and my brain shut down about two hours ago.

tomorrow rob and i are going thrift store/retro shopping, and i plan to have a blast! i wonder what i'll be able to pick up for $30?
