100 things about me. (i can be such a follower! ;op)

1. i'm a girl.

2. i am 22 years old.

3. i have brown hair.

4. and blue eyes.

5. i custom ordered a new pair of sunglasses with pink lenses and they rock.

6. i also ordered a pair with regular (gray/black) lenses.

7. ... i have a limit to my boldness.

8. i'm constantly drinking water. even right now.

9. i have two tattoos. (i'll provide a link later!)

10. i want two more tattoos. maybe three. i'm getting my third within the next six months.

11. i have two piercings in my left ear, three in my right. and i used to have my belly button pierced.

12. now i just have a tiny scar where the belly button piercing once was.

13. at least i got that piercing for free.

14. i'm an only child.

15. i was a tomboy.

16. in many ways, i still am.

17. my favorite colors are blue and gray.

18. i like certain (lighter) shades of brown a lot too.

19. i can't pick one favorite movie, i like so many of them.

20. i do have a favorite song though - ``you are my sunshine`` - best sung by my poppie, but a close second is bing crosby.

21. i don't really have a favorite food. but i like fruit a lot.

22. thinking of things for this is harder than i thought...

23. i should be reading/studying for my classes tomorrow.

24. i'm a full-time college student.

25. i take nutrition, anthropology, creative writing, and intro to lit with emphasis on children's literature.

26. my favorite class is creative writing.

27. one day i'm going to teach creative writing.

28. because i'm going to become an english teacher.

29. i've wanted to be a teacher since the tender age of five.

30. at five i also declared that i was going to be an author.

31. i plan to see both goals through.

32. i've already been published.

33. but i want more, more, more. ;o)

34. i'd like to write children's books.

35. maybe big people books, too.

36. i love writing.

37. and reading, too.

38. i also like music.

39. i can't carry a tune in a basket.

40. but i could care less when a really good song comes on.

41. thankfully, my boyfriend loves me anyway.

42. my boyfriend's name is rob.

43. and we've been together two and a half years.

44. my longest relationship was three years to the day.

45. but i know the one i'm in now will last longer.

46. because my boyfriend is my bestfriend.

47. and we were bestfriends for a year before we became a couple. that's always a good thing.

48. together, we have five dogs. their names are twinkie, karmel, buster, chocolate, and madison.

49. i am really drawn to great danes.

50. i work as a dog trainer.

51. i love my job, but don't like the people i work for.

52. which is why i'm starting my own business.

53. i'm beyond excited about that!

54. i find it surprising that more dog trainers (people involved in animal care in general) aren't vegetarians.

55. i'm a vegetarian. but i think the only people that know that are those who love me, and those who read this. which is really not that many.

56. that might change soon, because rob is getting me a new shirt that has a pretty cool veggie slogan.

57. i'm working on becoming vegan.

58. if i ever have kids, i wonder if they'll be veggie too?

59. rob is also buying me a pair of leather-free sneakers. (he got a big pay check recently, and is spoiling me something fierce! :o))

60. i have caller id. which i mention because the phone just rang and i choose not to answer it. evil little me.

61. it was a girl i've know since high school, and she talks too much. ... i feel like typing right now, not talking. or listening, for that matter. i'll write her an e-mail.

62. i was editor of the newspaper in high school.

63. oddly enough, i was also filipino page editor.

64. i completed the last two years of high school via a study at home program.

65. because i became very ill and couldn't even sit up in bed. but i still managed to graduate with a 4.0 :o)

66. i was getting iv fluid every other day, and had to be in a wheelchair at times.

67. i don't know how, but i'm better now.

68. much better. i can walk, and work, and go to school.

69. and sometimes i relapse, but overall i get by just fine. i'm thankful for that.

70. i do have asthma though.

71. and allergies. among other things, i'm allergic to pepper.

72. being allergic to pepper is no fun at all.

73. i've been hospitalized more than once for various things.

74. i've only had stitches on one occasion though - when i accidentally put my hand through a window and sliced a four inch gash in the side of my palm.

75. that hurt like you would not believe, and i could see my muscle. ewww.

76. i've owned three cars in my life. my first, a $500 1989 ford escort pony. the second, a lincoln town car that i gave to my mom in exchange for my third, a 2000 honda civic.

77. i love my civic and his name is alvin. he's paid off.

78. there's a nice story behind his name, but i'm not going to tell it right now.

79. i want my next vehicle to be big enough to fit all five of my dogs and at least three people, comfortably, at once... but i don't want a gas guzzler.

80. too bad i don't have an endless supply of money. ;o)

81. i am lucky enough to live in a house though.

82. which is fortunate for me, having so many dogs and all.

83. i don't own the house, but my mom does - which is great because i get to paint the walls any color i want.

84. i was able to move in to this house in part because of my timberwolf german shepherd mix, pepper.

85. he's no longer with us, and i miss him a lot.

86. he's the fourth dog i've lost in my life.

87. i think that is one of the worst pains in the world.

88. right up there with losing loved one - none of my biological grandparents are still alive.

89. i haven't spoken to my `dad` since i was seventeen. i saw him only three times between the ages of ten and seventeen.

90. i don't know my father.

91. but i've been told by at least a dozen people that i'm just like him.

92. i have his eyes.

93. and his nose. gee thanks, pops.

94. i'm almost done with this and just now thinking of so many great things to say...

95. i want to travel the world someday.

96. at this point i've only been to four counties, and about half of the states.

97. i used to live in australia. i'd love to go back. i also want to go back east again... i loved living in maryland.

98. i think i'll live in washington when i'm older.

99. i love nature.

100. i'm going to photograph it all.
