why do i love?

i love because of the two choices (to love, or not to love), loving is better.

i've learned that who i love, and when i love them are not in my control. but once the love is flowing, i have no say in where it's going. i'd never bottle it up though. i think not loving would be ten times more painful than all of the hurt that love can sometimes bring your way.

i love because there are so many reasons to do so. there are fabulous people i'm fortunate to know, and wonderful critters around me, and they all need my love.

i'm more than happy to give it to them. and so, i love. *smiles*
