maddie has a boyfriend now. his name is max, and he's a 3 1/2 year old brindle great dane. he's gorgeous! he and maddie met for the first time today, even though his owners and i have known one another for a bit now.

max and maddie took an immediate liking to each other, and it's been determined by the excessive amount of licks maddie gave max, that she's a little hussy. *l*

it's so nice to know good people who have a dane that maddie can play with. *smiles* now she has two boys in her life... she still hasn't forgotten her first crush of sorts, bruno. he's in one of my classes now. i think those two didn't work out because he's younger than she is. *g* but they're good still friends.

... is it odd that so much of my life revolves around my dogs? good thing it's my job, or i'd probably be committed.

but anyway. today was an awesome day at work. and i'm suuuuper excited about tomorrow, as rob usually works monday, but he's off tomorrow. so we've got all sots of fun stuff planned and i'm as excited as a giddy school girl after being told she gets to go to some hot pop concert.

i'm also super jazzed because roomie josh finally landed a job, and so he'll be gooooone during the weekdays! woot! he's a nice guy and all, and i don't mind him as a roommate... but when he's home like, 24 hours a day, every day, that gets a bit old, and fast! that's just too much time to have to spend near/around/with someone, yunno? so now that he's working, i'm one happy camper. it'll be nice having a few hours in the day where i have the house all to myself. i've been missin' that.

... i've also been missing having a new audubon engagement calendar on my desk, so i think i'm gunna go take care of that right now and order a new one. then i'm going to enjoy some strawberry swirl soy ice cream.

everyone deserves a little self-indulgence once in a while.
