today, i experienced the afternoon from hell.

i had an appointment at two to have my cars oil changed. a process that should take thirty minutes, tops. but. i ended up leaving there at a quarter past four due to the incompetent fucks working there.

theeeeeeen. i had an appointment for karmel at the vets for four forty. a procedure that should have taken fifteen minutes took over TWO HOURS!

and i paid for all of that. $100 for six hours of hell on earth. oh, the joy.

*sigh*

but, there's an upside!

when i got home, gary and rob were waiting for me. in no time at all, they put a smile on my face. and they took me out to dinner, too! (i'm such a lucky gal. *g*) it was an all-you-can-eat seafood place, with crab, lobster, shrimp, clams, mussels, scallops, salmon, and sushi galore. and rice and noodles and desserts and everything. we all stuffed our faces and got giddy off the environment... and a little sake too.

and i was supposed to study tonight, but instead we're about to watch the first harry potter movie again, since gary hasn't seen it yet. (i just got him hooked on the books!)

sometimes it's good to just be fat 'n' happy. :o)
