i was at dog beach from noon to two. i played with dogs (apparently it was ``dane day,`` as there were five danes there during those two hours!). i ran around in the sand and water with darren, and i soaked up the sun with lori.

after that the three of us went shopping. i bought halloween bandanas for my doggies, and yummy bones, and spiffy treat bags. darren and lori bought pretty much the same.

following that we went to lunch. we ate pizza on the beach and give the remaining slices to homeless people. we had smoothies. delicious, fresh fruit smoothies.

then we went to see another trainer teach. and she sucked, but it was fun to watch her and learn what not to do.

and after that we went to a super cool pet store were lori and i bought food for our dogs and darren bought treats for his.

lastly, we went to borders. we checked out dog books and bought dog books and i found a list of awesome great dane websites. it was especially cool because dave got to come inside with us since he's a service dog. he's so great.

and, then, we all drove home.

that was my eight-hour work day. ... i can't believe i got paid to basically go to the beach, shop, eat lunch, and shop some more.

wow. is it any wonder why i love my job?!
