today has been less-than-fabulous.

for starters, potential roomie mike hasn't checked his e-mail, and thus, hasn't shown up today. i'm sure there's a good reason, but right now it's rather disappointing.

add to that, the mariner's lost. and while that isn't the end of the world by any means, when things aren't going great, it certainly doesn't make anything seem better.

plus, all of the area dog washes were `full` today, so we didn't get to do that like we were planning to.

top it all of with the fact that it's incredibly hot, and muggy.

but! instead of moping around complaining and pitying ourselves, rob and i have decided to run away from it all. *g* we're going to go get some ice cream, see signs, and then have a nice dinner somewhere.

when life throws you lemons, screw making lemonade. ... instead, catch the damn things, sell 'em, and use the money to go out and have a good time. *smiles*
